– This event is part of the Zero Waste Challenge –
On the 21st of May Zero Waste Meal will organise the Zero Waste Challenge, a challenge to make one plastic-free meal for 10 days. During this challenge, the team of Zero Waste Meal will organise a few events to get to know the sustainable initiatives in Rotterdam. On the 30th of May there will be end drinks to close this week together.
As part of the Zero Waste Challenge, Zero Waste Meal and SFYN Rotterdam will join forces and organising a drink to share knowledge. During the drinks we want to discuss what the organisations are striving for and what both perspectives are on sustainability and the food industry. Hope to see you on Friday May 24th (location TBA)!
About Zero Waste Meal
Zero Waste Meal is founded by Dora Varga and Lotte Gerick who won the Circular Student Awards. Now these two ladies are organising this challenge where cooking without waste is promoted with the help of their representatives and hope by this to make a positive impact on the world.
Slow Food Youth Network believes that we, as young people, can and should play an important role in the future of food production and consumption. We strive for more respect during the production process for humans, animals and the environment. That is why SFYN brings young consumers, producers, farmers, chefs and students closer together.
